A submission is stored privately first. It is not published automatically.

What we store

We store the supplied account, structured incident details, consent choices, evidence links and uploaded originals. Optional name and email are kept separately from the public report. Technical security records may include a privacy-protected connection identifier.

Publication

Narrative and media permissions are separate. Editors publish only approved fields and approved media derivatives. Contact details, private addresses and unapproved originals are never public. You may submit without agreeing to publication.

Optional AI processing

External AI processing is a separate choice. If unticked—or when the approved BaseLayer integration is unavailable—the report follows the manual editorial workflow. AI output is an unapproved draft and cannot publish itself.

Changes, removal and contact

To correct or request removal of a report, email hello@doubleu.ie with the report reference and enough information to establish your connection to it. Removal includes active originals and derivatives; encrypted backups expire under the documented retention schedule. Minimal audit evidence may be retained where lawfully required.

External media

YouTube content loads only after you choose to load it. At that point YouTube receives information under its own privacy terms. Ordinary evidence links open only when selected; the site does not fetch arbitrary submitted URLs.
